Still new at this guy so bare with me. I try, lol.
Here’s a quick dessert I enjoy very frequently. As mentioned in the video, you don’t have to use coffee, youc an use decaf, almond milk, coconut milk, water, or whatever liquid you’d like. I just find coffee enhances the flavor of the chocolate, masks the egg, and keeps it moist.
You can alwasy substitute the tbsp of cocoa powder for a tbsp of protein powder, almond flour, coconut flour or half/half of either of those and add spices/flavors to your liking.
For this cake I used:
2 tbsp almond flour (I use Natures Eats I get at HEB)
1 tbsp high fiber coconut flour (I use Bob’s Red Mill)
1 tbsp cocoa powder (I use Hershey’s New Formula Dark Chocolate)
2 tsp sweetener (I use Pyure, you can adjust the sweetness to your liking).
1/2 tsp baking powder (I use Argo aluminum-free)
1/4 cup brewed coffee (You can use instant and hot water if you’d like or any liquid)
Super quick, easy, sugar-free, dairy-free, gluten-free!
You can top with anything you’d like! I love topping mine with peanut butter (I use Wal-Mart’s Great Value organic peanut butter).
This mug cake has 198 calores, 14g fat, 11g protein, 5 net carbs.
